Visit from the Illinois folks!

This past weekend Aaron's parents came for a visit. It's always so quick but we love when they come. They got here late Friday night. That morning we got around slowly. We had lunch and then the men left at 12:00 to go with some teens from church to a Butler basketball game in Indy... "They played Drake at historic Hinkle Fieldhouse. The game was televised on ESPN and it was quite a close one the whole way through. While Butler didn't come out on top it was still a fun time and well worth the price of admission," says Aaron.  While the men were gone we did some womanly things! :)  We started off the afternoon by walking down Main Street and going in the shops.  I just love to browse!  At 2:00 we went to the beauty college to get pampered.  We got a package for $12 that included a facial massage, a scalp massage, manicure and pedicure.  They only had time to do two of my things but luckily Joan got to do them all.  It was very relaxing and we enjoyed ourselves.  We went to a mexican restaurant for dinner and then made a pecan pie and went through some recipes.  The men came home around 11:00 that night.  Sunday morning they came to church with us and then we went out for lunch before they drove home.  We are so blessed to have parents that are so willing to make the drive to visit us!
