Happy 2 Months!

Kaitlyn Joy is now 2 months old. It's so fun seeing her grow and change! She looks so different already from when we brought her home from the hospital. She has been such a smiler lately and we've loved her being able to finally respond to us.







Kaitlyn's likes:
*Being held and bounced by mommy and daddy (we must be standing of course!)
*When we make funny faces with our mouths and stick out our tongues
*The sound of running water
*The sound of the vacuum cleaner and sweeping with mommy
*Her swing
*Being outside
*Taking walks in the stroller
*Riding in the car

Kaitlyn has started to smile. After I feed her is when she smiles the most. It's become a routine for us. I made funny faces and she smiles back. It's been so much fun seeing her be able to respond back to us. She growing up!

Illinois Trip

Last week Kaitlyn made her first trip out of state! We went to visit Aaron's family in Illinois. We had a nice relaxing time and Kaitlyn did very well. We got there Tuesday and came home on Saturday.
Wednesday-Kaitlyn met all four of her great grandparents
Thursday- men golfed, women stayed home with the baby :),supper in Bloomington with Aaron's sister and her husband
Friday-went to a wedding of Aaron's friend from highschool
Saturday-Zehr reunion

First Vacation

This past week Kaitlyn had her first vacation! (We did make a trip for my grandpa's funeral but that's not much of a vacation.)We went to visit my family. We left after church on Sunday and got back Thursday night. Overall it was kind of a stressful trip. I think it was a little too much action for Kaitlyn. She was really fussy! That was hard for me because I felt like my family couldn't enjoy her as much. I know they enjoyed her anyway. Hopefully next time will go better because she'll be older. During our time there we went to the lake with the Snider family, spent time at my sister's house, went to my nephew's T-ball game, went out for ice cream, and saw grandparents.
