Anniversary Trip to Indy
Aaron and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary in January but we didn't get to really celebrate it until this past weekend. We decided to go to Indianapolis for the weekend. I took Friday off of work so we got there Thursday night. Our hotel was downtown. Friday morning we walked around downtown and walked by the canal. It was a beautiful day. We went to a movie, went out to eat at Bucca di Beppos, and then went to a Pacers game. Our friend from college works for the Fever/Pacers so she got us free tickets! Thanks again Jackie! Saturday we went shopping at the mall and went ice skating. By the end of our trip our legs were pretty sore from walking around everywhere and skating!
Here are some pictures from our wonderful weekend away!
This is outside the NCAA Hall of Champions. We didn't get to go in because they had a fire earlier in the year and were closed for repairs.

This is frozen mist from a waterfall along the canal.

Aaron and I went to see the movie "Paul Blart- The Mall Cop" and then we saw a mall cop riding on a little scooter thing just like in the movie! I laughed everytime I saw this man. We also saw a 30-some year old man in a suit playing Dance Dance Revolution all by himself. We got a little chuckle out of that scene.

At the Pacers game

Ice skating at the Pan American building. It was my first time skating so please don't judge!
Super Bowl
This year, like last year, we had our youth super bowl party at the home of 2 of our adult leaders. We borrowed a projecter from the college to put the game on the wall. It makes it a little more exciting that way!
Every year, one of the leaders puts together a little quiz called the Vincennes Youth Group Super Bowl Challenge. It had a lot of random questions like, "How long will the National Anthem be?", "What will the first penalty of the game be?" and "How many times will the announcer say ball in the first quarter?" The winner gets this pretty intersting traveling trophy. We have such great adult leaders. :) Here is a picture of last year's winner, passing off the trophy to this year's winner.
After the second quarter was a preview for a 3-D movie coming out. Aaron got 3-D glasses for everyone. It wasn't as exciting as we were all hoping but it was still fun to see everyone wearing the glasses!
