Winter Break

2 weeks ago I had a winter break that wasn't really planned. I had four days off of work because of snow and then last week I had one day off and 2 hour delays every other day. We got about 10 inches or so. We probably could have been back in school by that Thursday but these people don't know how to plow down here! The roads were ridiculous! So while they waited for the sun to clear off the roads, I stayed home. Aaron was with me for 3 days so that was nice. I'm ready to get back to a normal routine this week!

Here are some pictures of the snow at our house.

So Many Pregnant Women!

I've realized in the last few months that I've gone past the age when all my friends are getting married and I've entered into the age when everyone is having babies. After hearing about two new pregnant women this weekend I decided to figure out just how many women I know that are pregnant. Drum roll please...10! And it would be 11 but one had her baby early. I hope it isn't something in the water because I'm not ready to be #12!

Ski Trip 2009/Friendly Visit

This past weekend Aaron went on the annual church conference ski trip with 4 boys from our youth group. While it sounded like a good time, playing in the snow with all boys, I decided to stay home and have a visit from my best friend Beth. She came down Friday night to spend the weekend with me. It was like our high school sleep overs all over again! We stayed up to the wee hours in the morning talking and eating. Saturday I showed her around our church and we did some window shopping on Main Street. We also rented some girly movies, since I hardly get the chance anymore living with a man! She left Sunday afternoon after Aaron got home. It was so great to have her here and I realized how much I miss our times together.

Life-Sized Clue

Last night we played Life-Sized clue for a youth event at the church. There were 11 people from church that dressed up as random characters. The students had to go to each room and ask us questions to figure out the killer, the weapon, and in which room it happened. It was a lot of fun and there were some interesting characters....

The Crocodile Hunter

The Gardener

The Farmer

Barak Obama

The Nerd

The 80's Workout Guy

The Lumberjack

The Mercenary

The Old Librarian

Madame of the Opera

Robin Hood and Little John
