It's Official!

Aaron and I had a very busy afternoon. We received our marriage license in the mail today so we decided to do our business to get my name changed. We first went to get a new driver's license. Aaron got his just fine but they wouldn't let me get one because I didn't have proof of address for our apartment. Ridiculous! We then went to the Social Security Administration Office to get a new card. We then traveled to the bank to add me to his existing account and order checks and debit cards. We got IWU checks! : ) Earlier today Aaron informed me that Megan Snider no longer exists. Wishing that he would have put it a little nicer...I'm understanding how true that is. : ) It will take some getting used to, but I am happy to become a Zehr.

Starting it off!

The newlyweds are home and have decided to start a blog as one! : ) We hope you enjoy reading ours as much as we enjoy reading others.

After a beautiful wedding (pictures will be coming soon!) we went to Anna Maria Island, Florida for our honeymoon. My uncle owns a condo and he let us stay there for a week as our wedding gift. The weather was gorgeous and the sun was so warm. : ) It was a great time of relaxing and enjoying the first week of married life. I am happy to say that we didn't have a honeymoon disaster like every other member of my family. Everything went smoothly and we couldn't have asked for a better week!

Here are some pictures from our wonderful week!

Sadly enough, on Sunday morning at the hotel, we awoke to inches of snow on the ground and immediately wanted to go back to the Sunshine State. Oh Indiana... We got back to the apartment on Sunday afternoon and unpacked and opened our gifts. We had a fun time together and received wonderful things! However, it took us Monday and Tuesday to put everything away! Our apartment finally feels like home. : ) Tuesday night we were finally able to eat at our kitchen table for supper!

Wednesday Aaron went back to work. The honeymoon was officially over. He is working at Dunham's and I am working on getting a job at Allen Elementary as a literacy specialist for kindergarten. Please keep that in your prayers! I need that job! Aaron and I are very much enjoying married life and are looking forward to many more exciting times.
