Last weekend we celebrated Aaron's 25th birthday. His birthday was on Friday. We went to McKinely Orchard (buffet restaurant) for supper. We came back and I gave him his presents and we rented a movie. Some friends of ours couldn't come over that night so they came over Saturday night to play games. Sunday night we also had a young adult outing for church. We went bowling. Not really for Aaron's birthday but fun anyway! Unrelated to Aaron's birthday...On Saturday we also had a workday at the church. Aaron and I, with the help of another lady from church, worked on the children's area. You might remember from last year that we overhauled one part of the children's area. Well, this room was the old youth room. It has become filled with unnecessary items and very unorganized. Every Wednesday the church provides a meal for the kids before their evening activities. Until last weekend, there was no place for them to play and stay occupied before supper was ready. They would just run around in the fellowship hall. So, on Saturday we went through everything and got rid of TONS and straightened it up. It could also use a paint job and come ceiling work but we just wanted to make it usable.

On Wednesday night the kids used the room and absolutely loved it! It was fun to see them enjoy it and how excited they were!
